Clichy can't play

I still have nightmares about Callum McManaman running past him at the FA Cup Final.

Because Kolarov would fair much better...

You mean fare I presume, Kolarov is indeed quite fair, especially compared to Clichy.

And with Kolarov, you know he's shit defensively so the LDM or LCB is expected to cover for him and he provides vital attacking threat. Clichy provides almost no attacking threat and gets defensively beaten so that's completely useless.

Sorry, yeah... fare.

Kolarov would've been ripped apart just as badly in that game, and often plays worse than that, whereas for Clichy that was a one off.

I will like to see Rodwell get a full game and maybe Lopes in some capacity in this match. It will also be an ideal opportunity for Jovetic to really introduce himself to the club.

Fernandinho uploaded a picture with Lopes at the team hotel so hes surely in the squad, also Greg Leigh didn't play today I think, might make a bench spot given our lack of LB options

generally a good shout and I feel that it's important to give other squad members a run out.
However, if returning 'injurees' aren't up to the full duration , or if (God forbid) those pie-scoffing b@stards are winning.. we need some big guns to come off the bench and get stuck in.

It's a bit of a distraction this one yes U know it's a cup and all that but are we that bothered about it?

Yes. It's a competition and I want us to win in, and the club should be taking the same stance.

I was there, 1st major game can remember being taken to by Dad & Uncle. I even remember the pre match entertainment I'm sure Police Dogs featured. Correct me if I'm wrong!
I can also just about recall being taken to York for an away gam, got picked up @ school gates, that too was in the 70's if my memory serves me right!
