Can't find a 'proper' download link for this matey. Is winvid its proper name? I just get directed to rather dubious 'crack' sites.TheMightyQuinn said:Winvid which is a dvd playing app for windows lets use capture screens whilst your watching
Ah ... that's what's been happening. Was using that SnagIt programme and just when I thought I'd saved a couple of pics all they turned out to be were blank screenshots. Was driving me crazy as they'd appeared to be originally captured. Will try this method. Ta.bluemoontom said:There's a couple of things you can do.
There's a program called VLC Media Player that has a snapshot function.
Or if you want a really round about way of doing it. In Windows media, go into Tools ---- Options. Then go into the performance tab. And turn Video Acceleration to none, this will allow you to take screen prints (via the keyboard) of your screen (previosuly, if that was turned on, all you would recieve was a blank screen where the video window was).
