I miss the days when the only warning lights you had on a car was for the oil and coolant temperature, at least if they were on it was usually serious.. nowadays modern cars have a light for everything!

My dad said in the late 80s never buy a French car because they suffer from electrical problems. Seems like they still do.

I've driven a couple of Renault Capturs to auction sites at the end of their leases and the central bit of the dash was totally pixelated. The speedo worked so it was legal to drive.

The electrics on the Renault I used to have were amazingly shit. It used to be window surprise when I pressed the switch, excitedly wondering which of the fuckers would come down this time. One of the bastards came down on its own once by locking the car after Id parked and got out.
