You know what i mean the like DAVE TRACEY signs above the driver and passenger?

The missus doesnt bellieve they existed and google is not my friend

Just a throwaway comment on the way into work and she looked at me like i was dumb.

Nothing
 
Yeah, they were sunstrips. Can't find any pictures of the boyfriend/girlfriend ones, but I definitely remember them. Usually found on Ford Capris if I remember correctly!

A very 70's/80's thing. Due to my parents names i jokingly bought them one once to put on the windscreen of their car. However they never did put up the 'Dick and Fanny' sunstrip for some reason!!

Check out the Morrissey vid for 'Boy racer or Dagenham Dave' some good examples on that.
 
Yes that's right, sunstrips. I remember saying to one girl in my 1968 Mini, 'Have I done something to upset you Angela?' At the time I had forgotten about having my name and 'SUE' on one.
