Draw will be live on Sky Sports on Wednesday night after Nott'm Forest v Newcastle.

This draw is seeded due the the extended Champions League and Europa League. City, Arsenal, Liverpool, Aston Villa, Spurs and United will be in a separate pot and cannot face each other.

• Bowl 1 - consisting of the six UCL and UEL Clubs
• Bowl 2 - consisting of the remaining 26 Clubs

A pre-draw will take place prior to Nottingham Forest’s Round Two fixture against Newcastle United on Wednesday 28 August, live on Sky Sports, to determine the Home/Away positioning of the six Clubs in Bowl 1 for the first six ties of the main draw.

The regional element to the draw is removed at this stage.

Given the huge number of games possible, Pep should pick all the youngsters and squad players. We have done well in the league cup historically, but times have changed and we should be prepared to lose, if necessary, to capture the big prizes.
