As long as Mark Lillis doesn’t miss a penalty we should be ok.
I still think that draw could have been done better. I understand UCL and EL being kept apart but no reason the UCL teams were kept apart from each or the EL teams kept apart other than feasibility of the draw.
Carabao 3rd round is w/c Sept 18 & Sept 25
UCL Matchday 1 is w/c Sept 18
EL Matchday 1 is w/c Sept 25
City v Arsenal in the Carabao could happen in w/c Sept 25.
I think the potential to play a EL team is why they were kept separate but much like the old Champions League draw they could have moved that team to the next tie and redrawn the opponent.
Let's say City drawn, then United. Move United to the next tie and redraw.
