Over the round of fixtures there’s been some significantly stronger sides put out by premier league sides than we would have predicted before hand. Seems most are using it as a pre-season fitness game whereas we’re seemingly going to go for the rest approach. I expect us and Liverpool to play the kids tomorrow but Seeing as we’re the only top sides looking likely to go down the rest path it could either prove to be a decent advantage to us and Liverpool over the rest in the short term or it could go against us and we look far more off the pace than the rest. Coming up against some high intensity sides in our next few league fixtures and already behind in preparation, it’s going to be interesting to see how we fare.
