Carabao Cup 4th Round Draw | Liverpool (H) | 8pm, Thurs 22nd December

Every time we play Liverpool we always have to have ticket restrictions in place that slow sales down, be it at the Etihad or wembley, they are a club that exist on day trippers, but because they cannot be trusted they stop other clubs having the same thing. We have probably 3000 tickets left to sell, surely the club can target people with a known buying history at home games

There’s a fortnight to sell the remaining tickets. We normally sell 3k in the last couple of days before a Cup match, never mind 2 weeks.

The Haaland affect has “changed the goalposts” and people need friends or memberships to get tickets. In addition, other Prem Clubs charge up to £75 for the equivalent of a match day membership.

If we were playing Fulham, it would be kids for a quid, but the Club’s admin are under pressure to sustain match day revenue and increase the number of paid up members.

Fact of the matter is our games are all selling out and generally only tickets available are returns on the exchange.

There is no need for the Club to sell tickets at low prices just to shift them.

It's unusual for us to have 2 attractive home games in the Cup but these are Category A games in anyone's money no matter what the competition is.

A membership is a no brainer for non S/ T holders but also increasing your friends list to include S/T holders.

Joining a supporters club also opens up opportunities to get tickets.

The once or twice a season fans complain because they can't just buy for a match of their choice but this is the same at any top Club doing well.
There are ways around it though with a bit of creativity but just ringing up or logging on to MCFC isn't 1 of them.

If we were shit getting a ticket wouldn't be a problem.

I agree mate.

Last season a lot of games (even Arsenal home) in the prem were discounted some time, normally during the last week, often heavily.

This season has seen seats available for £30 in July selling for £48 as the match approaches.

We definitely have the Barca/RM types wanting to watch this season.
