Virgin fucked up abit coming back after the extra time meant blues missed their trains and were then all on the already full later ones.

Then shititng themselves and canceling all reservations, people being turfed out of seats just before they did then people who had reserved being told to piss of by peopel in the seats.


Last year they put an extrra train on I am sure of it.

Same every year, they overbook the trains, last year we got on one of the 2 unreserved extra trains after arguments on ours, said last time for me so drove. Late home but less hassle, this should be a 2PM KO if there are any northern teams in the final.

@urban genie, the rail guy who took us through the ‘bowels’ of Euston said they’d already put 2 extras on & they might have to think about another. They had crews on standby. One of the drivers had insisted on them taking people off the one we were taken off as it was not just overcrowded but also overweight!

The best laugh, although I know we shouldn’t have, was the guy fighting with 3 police personnel who was taken off the train at Stoke (I think) & was fighting with them on the platform, fell or was pushed to the ground & his trousers ended up near his knees! No they were not boxers he was wearing! He was a big lad.





And no it wasn’t me who caused the overweightness! :-)

We were stood in a queue at Wembley Stadium station for about an hour and a half due to 'operational issues' with Chiltern Railways.

It's tgqt they put this final on a sunday that causes the issue, as you say I was back in work this morn at 6 so had to come bacl last night, if it was saturday like the FA cup I would have stayed over

Stayed over, coming back today at 12 as thought it'd be a good idea to let the rush hour disperse. All trains into Victoria cancelled due to signalling issues. So we had to get off at Earl's Court stranded, decided to come for food instead, more money on another coach back up North later... London's a shithole, I wanna go home!

Drove to Chesham,got in a bar after getting our stuff in the hotel,watched united first half then 40 mins to Wembley.

Trains expensive as got my 2 lads with me but we always meet up with my brothers best mate and make a weekend of it.

Drove back today which was a pain in the arse but would have crawled over broken glass with my knackers hanging out 10 years ago for the chance to win a trophy.

Thats 8 in 8 unless you are Hererra/Maureen and count CS too then its 10 in 8.
