Wow that would never happen as you well know,i see the game you play with people, the bottom line is eddie is the better keeper, play your best team in a final,if eddie was injured and bravo stood in for him in the CL for say 3 games then who would you play in the final, eddie of course as he is the best keepergen question for you. Assume we are leading 1-0 at 65 mins and Bravo makes a mistake to allow them to draw level. Min 88 we get a pen and Kun misses it. We then go on to lose in Xtra time (Bravo subbed for Eddie through injury). who would you blame for the loss?
So why will Pep pick Bravo ? And most likely why will Ospina play for Arsenal ?Wow that would never happen as you well know,i see the game you play with people, the bottom line is eddie is the better keeper, play your best team in a final,if eddie was injured and bravo stood in for him in the CL for say 3 games then who would you play in the final, eddie of course as he is the best keeper

No you don't have to agree but you also need to acknowledge it's not as simple for the manager of a team competing on all fronts every season picking his best keeper in the league cup final, if it was as simple as you say and he just picks his best team he would. He has a bigger picture to consider. He decides what he decides, doesn't mean i have to agree

Pep doesn't make decisions because you are scared of what your United mates might say. He makes decisions which build football dynasties. This isn't even a controversial decsions: all the top clubs do it. You have to recruit an expensive, experienced, probably international goalkeeper as your number 2. This probably means that he has to sacrifice the thing he love, his trade, on a week to week basis. So to sign him and motivate him you tell him that he is the domestic cup keeper, all the way to the final should we get there.
The bigger picture here is that every single player in Pep's squad has to feel he is treated fairly. They have to trust him and respect him. The minute he goes back on his word in this kind of situation he destroys that. They are all Bravo's mate.
Bravo will play and, even though it weakens us, it is the correct decision by a man who knows how to look after a squad of top footballers and has them bonded as a unit.
