Mourinho got them second place, won this cup and the Europa League. So he got a tune out of them didn’t he?

So what’s new? What they’ve done this season so far isn’t much different to what they did that season, so I don’t see why they’re “back”. They are just better than they were In the past couple of seasons.

Despite his achievements with them, Mourinho was a dinosaur on his last legs, and Woodward was still in charge. They never challenged for the title since Ferguson left. Ten Hag is a different beast with a long-term approach, and they seem to be serious about being a football club again.

There's no speculation, the facts speak for themselves unless one is being deliberately obtuse. I don't have any kind of narrative spilling it for me, my own eyes suffice to tell me that a false dawn is very unlikely this time.
