This is the competition our fringe players/kids will be playing,so ideally we need the first couple of rounds to be reasonably kind.

Just noting that there seems to be an assumption that a League One side will automatically be a walkover which is not the case.
I would prefer a League One side because they will be an easier opponent and allow us to play the young players in the squad. Obviously there's always a "yeah but", but the fact of the matter is the weaker the opponent, the more likely we are to play youth and win.Just noting that there seems to be an assumption that a League One side will automatically be a walkover which is not the case.
