Carabao Cup - Oxford United (A) 25/09 1945hrs

Looks like ESPN+ in the US will be broadcasting it live so expect a few other international broadcasters to follow suit.
I’ve just found out that we’re not on tv in favour of scum v derby!!!! That’s just taking the piss. I can get Espn plus quote easily but sky have a lot to answer for on this. I think I’ll be asking them as a subscriber how the justify this schedule when there are so many better looking ties in the round. I don’t hold out much hope on a reply. I suppose I could just cancel. Utter joke

Fully agree mate, but I’ve almost given up being surprised by things like this as it’s happened so many times now. The Rags could be playing against a junior football team and for some reason it would still be picked for TV by sly.
Anyway by fair means or foul, there’s at least a chance you will get to see the match. The positive also being you won’t have to listen to a biased commentator or pundits that we also normally have to put up with.

Don’t scum play Derby in the FA Cup fairly recently, on TV?

Agree with you both - although of course bbc/itv/btsport have been just as bad over the years when it comes to selecting them for cup games

I suppose Soccer Night will be on Wednesday so at least I won't miss it on the way back - got feeling it could be our year in one of the cups.

Makes you wonder whether there’s a process for anything in the ticket office. I’m not usually one to moan but they do seem to incur the same issues year after year...

The Spurs fiasco is unique and City are going that extra mile for the fans. That’s different from the poor on-line ticket site.

It’s the sort of thing a ticket office could be prepared for - the cause of the Spurs situation is unique but offering travel refunds to fans due to changes in fixture date has happened before
