Carabao Cup | Semi-finals | 9/10/23/24 Jan '24

Can't help feeling that a one goal lead isn't enough for Middlesbrough. If they can get the first goal at Stamford Bridge, though, it could be interesting.

Yeah, it'll be tough. Then again, nobody expected them to win tonight.

I just read that Middlesbrough have 14 players missing and that was their 3rd choice keeper. That's even more embarassing for Chelsea, losing to Boro's second and third string players!

All that way from Landan to The Land of Smog and only 4 players (3 of them youngsters) go over to the Chewwsey fans.

Cold Palmer went straight down the tunnel without shaking any opponents' hands. Classy. Not a City player with that attitude. Good money for him especially when we have a superior, harder working player in Oscar Bobb. Good riddance.

Never forget our trip to Ayresome Park in 1976 wouldn’t be surprised to see Chelsea repeat history and batter them 4-0. One of the best shows ever in Town before and after not to mention being in the Kippax that night

Irritating that this is a two-legged tie. I've never understood why it's that way when every other round in the competition is one leg. It makes it extremely difficult for a team like Middlesbrough to get to the final. You might be Chelsea in a one-off game, but the chance of doing that to them twice is very low.
