It seems ages ago that I started to worry about a starting 11. Other than Ederson in goal does it really matter? That’s how good our squad is nowadays.

We need to get the 3 points and that is all that matters. Yes vs lower league teams it might not be as easy as you’d like to see. And we didn’t play that well vs Fulham other than the first 20 minutes. If it’s another one like that tonight I just moan for about 10 minutes we could’ve done better and than I happily move one us sitting top and let the league be for what will be a great next game at Wembley.

We do that in games though try to kill the game off early and take our foot off the gas fire 60/70 minutes, There's a lot of games to be played they all know there is no need to go all guns blazing in every game for 90 minutes. We'll rotate tonight and still have a seriously good side out.

First 5 minutes will show exactly Cardiffs intention for the game. They are coming to defend deep and limit the damage.
If we score a couple without conceding a silly goal, we should go on to win comfortably. All the talk of 5 or 6 is good, but I’ll take a 2-0 win with 80% possession and no injuries now.

If bennett is playing you've got to expect at least 1 injury

If the Mangala is available I would say to the team, " Be winning comfortably and with ten minutes to go I am going to introduce the Mangala to Bennett. "

Regardless of Sergio feeling something tight and wanting to sit this one out so he's ready for Wembley, I think Jesus would have started anyway.

A few hundred seats available online - looks like seasoncard holders who can't make the re-arranged game. You can still get two together if you want them. City look like they have sold out all Cardiff's City's returns which is a great effort considered the short notice of the game.

I can see quite a few seasoncard no shows tonight as many will have been unable to arrange time off at such short notice. All the returns from Cardiff and the very high prices will have made it difficult to sell them on the Ticket Exchange.

Setting off in an hour, just been snowing here, thankfully it’s stopped,I’m thinking 3-1 to us Jesus,Sterling, and I think one of our defenders will score for us.
