The CityStore in the town centre has 2000 champions t-shirts printed ready for tomorrow. Not sure about the stadium shop though.

Is the city centre store staying open late then?

Not saying you're wrong as I have no idea but seems odd to have them on sale at a shop the fans can't get to before normal closing but not available where there'll be well in excess of 40k who'd been at the game.

No sodding scarves left in the shop though this morning! Still, got a good deal on a shirt for my sister who will be watching in the Kings Head, Santa Monica at 5am cheering the blues on. She has lived over there for 7 years, text me this morning to say we are headline news on all the news channels over there today!

The Kings Head in Santa Monica was a surprisingly good pub. They even sold good beer which is surprising for L.A.

Watched a City match there last year, quite a few blue ex-pats.

The place should (hopefully; touch wood) be rocking tomorrow!!

The game kicks off at 8am local time here in L.A.
His sister is going to be bladdered by the time the game starts.

HB..are you sure its an 8.00am start in LA. I thought LA was 8 hrs behind uk.so 7.00 am. Might be wrong, but you might want to check (its a 3pm in uk)

HB..are you sure its an 8.00am start in LA. I thought LA was 8 hrs behind uk.so 7.00 am. Might be wrong, but you might want to check (its a 3pm in uk)

I was thinking the same thing. You might want to double check your time. Don't want to miss the first half!

Went over to see her Xmas 2010, had a great time but we never got time o go in the Kings Head, my sister usually goes in there a few times a year, and every New Year UK time for a toast before the LA New Year, hopefully it will be full of blues tomorrow spreading the word
