Any recommendations for takeaway East Manchester area?
What is the going rate nowadays ?
I used to pay £6 or £7 but passing through Chorlton recently, I was amazed to see a tray of meat, rice n peas, steamed veg was now £11!
I gave it a miss and got 3 or 4 ready meals from Morrisons instead , they weren’t too bad tbf.

Went to Island Vibe bar in Chorlton after the match on Saturday. A bit more upmarket than Jerk Junction, but the food was fantastic & the service really friendly.

When I went there the food was average and the service appalling. I’d rather throw my money into the Irwell than give it to them again.

Visited the Old Trafford Bakery earlier for a loaf & some bun for later, and patties for lunch. Absolutely fantastic place. Best patties I've ever tasted.
