West Brom away in the Carling cup last year I recall the outrage from a lot of our fans when Mancini selected what was in effect the youth team.
I argued with my friends at the match that with other important games we needed to prioritise and this was a correct decision from Mancini. It seemed to split opinion on the forum too.
So one year on if Mancini does the same again this season (which is highly likely) would you be supportive?

It is the least important ofthe four trophies we will be playing for this season. That doesn't mean it's not important. Whether it's a priority or not, well, it's not that much of one.

In order of importance:
Premier League
Champions League

FA Cup

League Cup

Community Shield; some pre-season training games
Other pre-season training games.

I'll be going to every game in the League Cup though. I think the home and away semi's are quality in that comp and it would be amazing to win it at Wembley.

There's no disguising the fact that it's 4th on the list of importance. Rotation is a must. Last season was perhaps different but now we've laid the ghost to bed I won't lose any sleep if we put the second string out in every Carling Cup game. Well till the final stages if we got there anyway ;-)

I'd be delighted if we won it.

With the squad that we have, there's no reason to not go for it

In the end winning a bigger trophy glossed over it. Was a bit annoyed at the time and thought it was a missed opportunity, but I'm not too bothered about it now. Hindsight shows it was a good decision.
