winding down in life.
following the thread of hargreaves being fit soon i was thinking who we would have as a "domestic cup squad".

i.e.
hargreaves
kolo
balo
savic etc.

could win one of the cups i reckon..

thoughts.

we've definately got a big enough and good enough list of 'squad players' to win the carling cup with, but like utd do i think the big guns would be brought out in latter stages, semi/final.
id like to see savic get a run although at the moment he just has to bide his time.

I think Bobby will definitely play some kids in the Carling Cup to give them some experience, I expect to see people like Alex Nimely and Freddie Veseli getting games, but to play alongside people like Savic, Kolo, etc. so should still be a strong team, especially if every other team plays second string sides.

Yep. 11 changes from our Premier League team, and it's still good enough to finish in the top 4!

EDIT: Just realised i've forgotten about De Jong! So put Nige in for Razak!

Birmingham form guide: LWDLWD (2-2-2)

2-2 draw with Watford
3-0 win over Nacional (Europa League)
3-1 loss to Middlesborough
0-0 draw with Nacional (Europa League)
1-0 win over Coventry
2-1 loss to Derby

Only one league win so far so they are really feeling the impact of having their squad picked nearly clean of Premier League quality as well as their coach.

Of course, last year's FA Cup taught us never to underestimate a lower league team so we will need to have plenty of experience out there even if Bob chooses to blood in some young guys. Pantilimon, Razak, Assulin, and Savic would be good calls for younger players brought in.
