Lavia needs another year, right now he'd waste his time coming back to us

The kid needs football to develop, he ain't getting that with Rodri being the best DM in world football and Stones being his perfect partner

The buy back is kicking in the right time for us, just a bit annoying there is a huge demand for a DM for every big team in the league but us, so he's likely gonna go to the Dippers

Only if we outbid opposition bids.

Just don't understand why we agreed to a buyback clause that doesn't kick in until next year.
If we want him now we're going to have to pay probably 55m for him, way above the 40m buy back clause agreement.

Because it gives assurances to the selling club we won't just buy them back after a year

Feels strange that we have just spent 55m on a player and never even gave this similarly talented kid a chance.

We have covered our bases with the sale conditions though.
