Carlos Tevez......... City's most talented player ever?

Right im only 17 so i never saw Bell and all the other City greats but i was just thinking surely Carlos has to be the most talented player ever. Obviously not got the stats just yet but just looking at his performances, he must be the best?

I'm of the younger generation too and I'd say he's second best after Ali that I've seen, he will overtake him though.

There are loads better though from the old days.

No way Geo was a better player than Tevez.... Geo was the most thrilling to watch, but Tevez adds so much more to the team and just doesn't have an "off" game. Geo was moments of sublime brilliance... Tevez is almost constantly winning the ball and making magic happen.

Personally OP I don't think you are a bad judge at 17. but you are also very lucky cos we will have a few more contenders in the coming years.

Let's face it we have struggled to beat teams like Wigan for years but one player beat them tonight, he took the game to them and ran at them from all angles. In the first half he had one saved, one just wide of the post and perhaps should have got an iffy pen, in the second he got their man sent off and then got his goals, who else have we ever had that would have single handedly won a game like that? and add to that his strike partner was dreadful tonight.

King Colin was awesome but if Carlos Tevez is here for a few years he will become a legend too. I started watching in the 60's and have been a regular since 74 - I have never seen anyone capable of taking the game over like Carlos Tevez did tonight, I am just so pleased my kids are seeing a great player in the blue shirt.

SLOW DOWN

He has a long long way to go to match Bell and Trautman - not because they gave better performances but because they put it in and put on performances year on year on year.

But he has made a good start and one of the best players i have ever seen in a City shirt.

i think some people seem to think i meant he has been city's best player already and has contributed more than the bells etc did. i mean the shift he puts in and his shear ability must be able to match the very best we have ever had

robinho has the talent but no heart. tevez has the lot and he seems like a city player. he has the desire that the city fans want to see.
