To be fair, he wouldn't get in a squad of 25. However, he is playing well and needs to do this for about 5 or 6 years and at least walk off with at least one PL title.

I am trying to tell you that it takes more than a few matches to become the best ever City player. He is way behind the likes of Summerbee, Lee, Brook, Doherty, Young, Kinkladze and Johnson who would all waltz into the positions that Tevez has played.

i do love the guy because he is the best player in the world. and i was basing it off his desire ability and talent. he is also in his prime and thats why you cant say weah was the best ever player to play for city because he was way past it when he joined

2. Tevez

although if Tevez keeps this going till the end of the season, then the season after, up until around 2013 then it could change.

Can't be up there with the likes of Bell, Trautmann, Swift, Doherty, Meredith etc yet because he has only been here for five minutes.

However, in the 31 years I have been going he is probably the only genuine world class player we have ever had.

If you went to anywhere outside the world of deluded, lovelorn people who clung onto any hero we had at the time, the likes of Benarbia, Goater and Kinkladze are not fit to be mentioned in the same sentence as Carlos Tevez. They were all great players for us but could never in a million years be classed as world class. Tevez, quite clearly is.

Anelka might have been the next best but he's a significantly more rounded player now than he was with us. He was not world class at the time although he was a very, very good player.
