"My passion and love is for Manchester City. One of the reasons I have signed for City is to win something here, and it's why I took so much pressure and took the decision.

Now you can sing 'Carlos Tevez is a blue' louder and more passionate than you ever have before!

Qoutes taken from official website. Apolagies if duplicate thread created.

i am sure he will achieved great things here; but then again in football, once players win and other teams start calling, their loyalties are out the window. Hope it doesn't happen in this case.

where the hell has that come from?

He'll be here for many years because we are on the way up and NOBODY else will be able to afford his wages, unless another Arabian multi-billionaire comes out of the woodwork.

Tevez to score first in 2-0 win tonight - C'MON CITY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I like Carlos scoring goals, but I wouldn't trust him as far as I could throw him.

Why? everywhere hes played hes been a fan favourite and remains so till the day. He's obviously loved in Boca Jrs, same in corinthians (very hard to accomplish by an argie in Brazil) and West ham. the only ones who had a problem with him are the rags, and it was down to rednose's fault, although they will never admit it. if you don't believe me go to redcafe and see how they are still divided over the Tevez/ berbatov issue.

Basically he asked for a new contract during months, at least a word agreement so he could plan for his career and his daughter's future. Fergie refused to even ackowledge the issue until after Carlitos got pissed off and anounced he was leaving regardless. Only then did drunky make his offer which I always saw as a move to save face with the fans that love Carlitos. Carlitos is a proud man and Manure acted like proper cnuts with him during months even dropping him after scoring 4 goals in one match. I have followed his career since before he played first division and I can go on about this for a while but I guess I'll leave you with one thought:

"Tevez is a standup guy by any standards, please don't choose the word of the worst Rag of all over that of a City player."

ps: I hate the fergie

What I find odd is how players always get slaughtered and called money grabbing twats when they go from a big club where he has won a lot to a club that hasn't won something recently. How is that a step down really? It' a huge new challenge, and I actually admire some of the players that goes to a club and want to help them win something, instead of staying in the same place, or move to a club pretty much like it for the same challenge year after year. That's not bad either don't get me wrong, but why is it always wrong to go to a club which haven't won much lately? That's a way bigger challenge than staying in many occasions.
