Finishing 4th in the Premiership in a way isn't a big deal because ultimately the main prize is finishing 1st.

However with modern football 4th spot has been the pass port to riches and allowed the top 4 to dominate and enable for them to buy the best, win things and boast about their "history".

That is why we can't "hate" 4th spot and if we get there we can perhaps go on to better things.
