Cavani, Maicon and Sinclair

Cavani: Definitely, even if it spell the end of Dzeko

Maicon: No, Old, Richards is my fave player and where would it leave him? :(

Sinclair: Yes, He equals Johnson but has a better attitude , would be cheaper wage wise and fee

Maicon. Remember bale ripping him a new one?

This.

He made Maicon look like Danny Mills

Do you remember Maicon who was nominated for B'alloon d'Or in 2010? Who won world defender of the year? Who bullied Barca and Bayern as Inter went on to win the Champions league? Who scored 7 goals as a right back and something like 15 assists in one season for Inter. Who kept Dani Alves out of the brazil team, who was rated the best right back in the world?

You acted like Bale is crap? When he's on form he would rip any defender in the world!

Saying that I can't see Mancini wanting to pay alot of money for a player who is 31, and personally I love Richards.
Sinclair would be a good squad player. Can see this happening.
Cavani will not come to city as a squad player when he is a legend in Napoli, do not see this.

Cavani: Yes (but only I'd Dzeko leaves)

Maicon: Yes (perfect for the wing back role in a 3-5-2, and bags of CL experience)

Sinclair: Yes (If jonno leaves, ready made replacement)

Richards was torn apart by Bale on the first day a couple of seasons ago, been fantastic since then. So I don't think you can point to one game but I've no idea how good or not Maicon is now. Can't see any of our 4 strikers leaving now so Cavani not very likely. Sinclair if Mancini wants him sign him up.
But it was two games

True but I don't think Maicon was beaten for any of the goals in the first game, he just thought the match was over so went traipsing up the pitch. Poor attitude to have maybe but he wasn't the only one on the team. He was abysmal when they lost away no doubt. I haven't seen much of him since then but he used to be an awesome player and better in the final third than either of our right backs which I think would be the main reason we'd be interested (if we even are).

Let's shut up shop and not bother. No way can we accommodate Cavani - this will create huge issues in the squad trying to keep too many forwards happy. Sinclair will give us width but he will play the odd 10 minutes here and there, and Maicon is a throw back to the Pearce era when we gave pre retirement payments out to past it players. If that's our transfer strategy in all it's glory - and I don't believe it is - we should close for business and go with the excellent squad we have and all pray for a few postponements during Jan / Feb while Yaya is away.
