Cavani Speculation/News (page 151 onwards)

If we keep the strikers we have now and Aguero stays fit we don't even need him. Getting the best out of the fantastic players we have have now is more important. Quit acting like slapped arses. It'll be fine.

Whenever an agent or chairman wants to create some tension then it's always either us or Chelsea who are interested. However I know that we will not overpay and have already lost someone this close season because we were asked for a fee we felt was too high.

I've also heard this.

er, yeah me too!

Travesty if he goes to Chelsea. That being said, as a longtime lurker I was less than impressed with how the Milan chap was dealt with.

Looks like in the end he may be owed a few apologies from some in the know members here. But let's hold off on that until something is official

Think I heard the same thing through my nan's hairdresser. If we're talking about the same person? It's a man...a footballer, right? Has hair? Two feet? That one...?

Are we sure we're absolutely sure we're in for this guy?
Bobby used to talk about him a lot but do we know if Txixi/Manuel really want this guy? Seems like the whole Cavani to City rumour could've been escalated massively by speculation and conjecture on here.
Some peeps are gonna start havin a pop at the club when it was never in our plans to buy Cavani in the first place.

There could be some truth in that, earlier in the cavani thread a fellow Blue posted pics of himself and Txiki in a restaurant after he bumped into him, the fan asked Txiki a quick question on summer targets. When he mentioned Cavani Txiki replied "Mancini likes him"

This could suggest that he may well have been a target for Mancini. Fact remains though that CAVANI is a massive talent and still would be a great signing
I hadn't seen the Txixi thing on here before... interesting statement for him to make.
No doubting he's a talent and i reckon he'd improve us... Jus not sure it's what they're after this window.

I'm looking forward to see what some of papers will write now, after what PB said hahah. "Daily Mail sources understand that City already lost out on a huge transfer as they weren't willing to spend some of their oil money" ?

I really do want us to get cavani but IF we miss out I will not be too bothered

Im sure pellgerini can bring the best out of our strikers + guidetti

He had santa cruz and still had a successful season both domestic and european

So im not too bothered honestly , I have trust in pellegrini
