Cavani Speculation/News (page 151 onwards)

If people think there are enough goals in a team with Aguero as the lone striker with non-scorers Silva and Navas behind him (Isco might give you 8 or 9 goals), then I can't agree. Aguero might get 30 goals, where will the other 60 come from?

Well if pellegrini gets us playing how we did at the start of the title winning season the goals could come from all over the park. Who knows we may see the Wolfsburg Dzeko under his management.

I'd much prefer Isco than Cavani anyway.

not me we didn't score enough goals last season and signing navas, fernandinho, isco and thiago won't fix that. signing cavani would fix the problem.

I disagree mate. I don't think the problem was with our strikers I think it was with the amount of chances set up for them. We need more pace and creativity in midfield and Aguero and Tevez will lap it up. Even Dzeko will have a better season with Navas and if we had Isco then I think we would be scoring goals for fun. For me Cavani is an expensive player to rotate with Aguero and I don't think the plan would be to play them together.

any striker that has Navas, Silva, Yaya, Fernandinho, Isco, Nasri, Thiago etc etc etc playing behind you should be able to score 20 on a broken leg

Santa Cruz it is then!!!

Kind of disappointed, but i'm not surprised either if he goes to Chelsea.

Hopefully, we manage to seal the deals for Isco & Thiago and then look to bring in an alternative striker.
