Makes absolutely no sense... Unless we want Edin 2.0

Zin, have you actually watched Cavani?

For napoli many times, he'll become the water carrier for Kun, don't expect the same player in our team - and playing him there isn't directly behind him, playing off a guy is a completely different role, Edin is as far removed from the topic as humanly possible, for a starter this guy can actually win headers and make a ball stick!

...I don't even know how to respond to this. You want to turn Cavani into a Centreforward/winger responsible for playing balls into Aguero? When Aguero is far better in that role?

I give up.

Have another go, don't give up too easy, you clearly lack vision..... and glasses!

I expect better banter. The quality has declined on this forum as of late.

You profess to know the guy but tell me where did he play at Palermo after Amauri's sale to Juventus??? what was his position???? You see don't make statements that aren't factually correct ok skippy????? His whole move to Napoli was orchestrated by his displeasure at the Palermo role.... And i'll state again, the formation you're alluding to isn't actually what I said, he'd play off Aguero, not behind r kid!!!!

SO you looked online and probably found a formation that showed Miccoli played up front, right?

But if you watched the games, you'd know that wasnt completely the case

But anyways... continue on. He'll play "alongside", which really, is you backtracking after realizing how dumb that was (your formation even showed him behind.. or wait, do formations on paper not always tell the whole story?)

So you are giving up??? Will only take a quick glance at the retort!!

Re: Cavani Speculation/News

Guys guys guys!!!

Do you think we really have a say in whether we get Cavani or not. No!

If the powers that be at City want him they will buy him, 10 mill or 60 mill they will get him.
Thats if he wants to come? Which i hope he does because he is a quality player and that is what we need to progress further.

If he does not come the club we will have a backup plan Reus maybe i don't know but with this kind of money i cannot see City putting all their eggs into one basket.

I have watched him a lot this season and as well as scoring goals he is very much like Tevez for work rate, tracking back and great team ethic! Whatever we pay he would be worth every penny.

C'mon City!

NO no no no - backtracking is a guy being shown 3 weeks earlier that his input was inept (ref:Dzeco) but even after the 'statement' of DL it's all a smokescreen - you see here is the problem, you tell us Dzeco would never suit there system but it's plausible a new guy comes in and changes said system, you're not having it right? And you watched all Palermos games with Cavani because it now suits your argument!

So we'll start with the tactics - show me, like my insane attempt, where a hypothetical front two of kun and cavani play.......

If we don't get Cavani, and with Falcao off to Monaco we wont buy a like for like striker, and the strikers available other than the two mentioned are pretty much like for like.

Suarez would be the only fall to guy, but do we really want to go there?

Rues is a second striker, we need a 30 a season poacher/ main forward.

We will build around what we have got in my opinion if we fail with Cavani.

Re: Cavani Speculation/News

Is he on a plane to Manchester yet?

This is taking ages

Sort it out Cheeky

If we don't manage to sign Cavani, I'd give my left bollock to sign Suarez

I'd give Pudge's right bullock not to sign Suarez.
