Cavani Speculation/News (part 5)

What really gets me is that we've just paid £30mil for virtually an unknown Brazilian and could have had Paulinho (the guy keeping him out of the Brazil squad) for half the price. If money and fair play is an issue why did we not just buy Paulinho and thus leaving us with the spare cash for Cavani.

We would then have a direct like for like replacement for Tevez and not be scraping around the bargain bins for cheap alternatives.

He hasnt kicked a ball yet, hes come to us cos he knows it will help with his dreams of playing for Brasil in the world cup..

Yep people should decide who's the better player at the end of the season and my money is on Fernandinho. Paulinho is obviously going to be watched more as he was playing in Brazil. That imo is why he's in the national team before Fernandinho but we'll wait and see.

He's put some good performances in in the champions league for a number of years . I don't think you should assume that the rest of the forum only has the same knowledge as you on the rest of European football. To call him an unknown is beyond daft. Just wait and see how good he is.
