Cavani

Has just signed for Paris St-Germain for 55m pounds. Incredible fee. Where do PSG get all this dosh? I didn't see the best of him from the games I watched at the confederations cup

Sheikh oil Billionaires.. just like us.

Good news as far as we're concerned. If we can't have him, I'd rather see him going to France than Chelsea. Not only that, but as long as the French clubs keep pissing on the FFP regulations to such a massive degree, Platini can hardly start pointing the finger at us.

Ibra out, Cavani in is a very expensive downgrade, but it does allow PSG to be a little more flexible tactically. Ibra is a better striker than Cavani, but what PSG get out of this is a younger player, who'll work harder for the team and doesn't need the team built around him. Poor move to be honest, I can't help but feel this is a political move more than anything, splashing so much money on a striker to try to overshadow Monaco's spending.

I think you guys aren't aware how good Cavani is. I think he's truly brilliant. A superb talent. Time will tell.

All well and good scoring 30+ in The French League, but could he do it up at 'ull on a Monday in January?

I've followed Cavani for years, he's not a superb talent, he's just a superb goalscorer with a brilliant attitude and work rate. There are other strikers who offer everything Cavani can and more i.e. RVP and Ibra. In 20 years time, people won't be talking about the Cavani in the highest regard.

disagree, he´s very good but not world class.

he´s a 30-35 mill player in todays market.
