For someone who's opening gambit was to declare he hates stupid people, big Ron doesn't seem the brightest.

I assume the point of his appearance is to try and get his kite known again after his sabbatical for his little bit of on air rascism. And maybe put himself inline for some football related work. And virtually his first words of note is a comment sure to bring attention for negative reasons.
