Celebrities you like ...

Samia Longchambon (plays Maria Connor in Coronation Street).
She was invited to the official opening of a play centre. Her, her husband and kids were all there and she was so down to earth, which surprised me.
In fairness they both were. He seemed a genuinely nice bloke and was really unassuming .

Ricky Gervais has it right about the celebrity world. They’re mostly all self important, hypocritical arse holes.

His last Golden Globes presenter job was spot on! Ripped them all a new one and told them some home truths that many didn’t like.

Well she's from Eccles so i doubt if she'll have any real 'airs and graces' about her , she does seem quite 'grounded' in her personality and attitude ..... and very likeable, even in her character as an actress .... i can't imagine she'd be much different in real life judging from several tv interviews that i've seen of her , she's quite friendly and 'bubbly'.

She's the daughter of a french/lebanese shop owner and an english actress apparently ..... and yes , her fella seems okay too!.
