Nah. There are vendettas at work. I didn't lecture anyone. I started a thread that the mods and forum owner thought was worth having.

You'll never get anywhere in improving the forum if you won't admit that your attitude towards many members and the hostility it provokes needs to change.

If you're a big voice who believes you have the right to talk over people who are beneath it, then yes, people will want to. I don't think any other big voice - for instance Damocles or TMQ, gets the reception yours does. There is a reason whether you choose to acknowledge it or carry on believing you're a victim, or worse, when you're in your most self-pitying mood, a martyr to the glory days of Bluemoon.

If you're trumpeting your own self importance, you bring it on yourself and deserve everything you get.

Half the problem is when someone is proven wrong they are to stubborn to admit it and most threads go beyond the topic and turn into pointless arguments.

If your proven wrong admit it

If your proven right don't be a smug twat about it

Then the second problem is people who declare your posts/thread pointless because they don't agree with it.

Only because you disagree or agree with something doesn't make it wrong or right, personal opinions are what threads are for.

Simple really.

Don't know about celebrity but the only threads I look for are rammy and DH's training reports and some poster sometimes uploads some pics which do be brilliant.
There are also some posters who if they have started a thread I know to avoid it and don't bother checking it out it saves a lot of gnashing of teeth.
P.S. Honourable mention for shady.
