I was channel hopping last night, and saw the ivory tinkler on The One Show, as it was going off.

I'm pleased to announce that I've answered one of the age old questions.

It was Rick that ate them all.

He sometimes sat near us at Maine Road in the Main Stand in the early 90’s. He used to bring a blonde girl with him who I’ve just googled and seen it was a model Nina Carter.

Also sat right in front of me was the girl who played Elsa in Emmerdale, she used to go with her Dad who looked liked Michael Winner. Behind us were a bunch of cracking lads who used to get the singing going in the Stand (which wasn’t easy), they knew loads of obscure old City songs. They were always ribbing “Elsa” about the Emerdale storylines.

Often wonder if any of them come on here, the only name I remember was Alan, to identify them they used to do a very good rendition of Jerusalem. Proper Mancs, very funny and maybe around mid 60’s now.
