Celtic game - strict security measures announced (page 34)

What's the score if the money hasn't come out of the account yet? I'm not happy where I've been relocated to due to SSL3 being closed so want to move. When I go to 'buy tickets', it shows a list of all my friends and family. If I click 'Select new seats', will that allow me to choose my own new seat?

There certainly seems to have been a surge in sales since around 9.30pm on Tuesday night and I'm not sure why ;)

Seriously, they had been selling steadily before that with an upturn since we beat Barca. There are only 2 green blocks showing now so with over 4 weeks to go to the match I'd expect there to be enough demand to open SS3.

I think the tactic of putting the tickets on sale 9 or 10 weeks before the game is far better than leaving it until just a few weeks before as has happened in the past with our CL group games. That way sales are more staggered and people are probably more tempted to decide to attend the match.
I agree putting them on early is far better, I am bringing 5 mates, already got 2 of their tickets and will be buying the other 3 tonight I think by next week they will need to be looking SSL3 as a lot of blocks are already single seats and if you want to bring a friend you don't want splitting, plus some fans don't have the money in Oct and Nov for a game in Dec,

I have just logged onto buy some extra tickets and it wont let me buy any. It just confirms my existing tickets for the game on the cup scheme. Anyone else had the same issue ?

When you see the seats you have purchased under the scheme, click on the "select new seats" in bottom right corner and you buy exta from there

I've just been thinking the same but when I've gone to select new seats and bought 2 tickets, it says the tickets have been loaded to the seasoncard so those seats must be in replacement of your already allocated seat for being in the cup scheme? Can't be too difficult to understand really but I'm confused about it!

You forget this is the City ticket office we are talking about!
I looked at getting two extra for a mate at work and his Son but knew it would be a complete F-UP, so have left it.

Can I just point out. The match is roughly another 5 weeks away. So if you can't buy the tickets tonight, you have another 5 weeks to buy extra tickets.

It will sell out. Especially if we need a win or draw to get through to the knockout stages. And one thing is guaranteed. A great atmosphere.

I spoke to the ticket office today and the seats already selected are the ones you're already in. If you choose to select new seats, you are moving your own seat for the game. If you want to buy more tickets, you have to purchase your own first of all (no direct debit will then come out of your account) and then buy extra tickets for your pals.

I know at least 30 Celtic fans sitting in the city end for this, friends or friends etc and been told Celtic fans are taking every seat they can

Reckon this one could get a bit lively, especially if the Celtic Fans picking up our tickets have been on the piss all afternoon and, god forbid, they score. Has the club made any statement about not selling these 'extra tickets' on to away fans or that away supporters will not be permitted to enter the home sections of the stadium? ah well, suppose it will give my lad a taste of what football used to be like in the 70s and 80s!
