Celtic thread 2020/21

My best pal has suddenly and unexpectedly dropped off the radar. I have, and I've fucking counted them, 46 messages, none complimentary I may add, about how shit we have been, no argument, but it was the cunts tone I objected to. Now, he's evaporated. Hasn't stopped me sending him motivational support. To be fair to the big Twat, he wasn't in the we've won the league gang, he's a clever ****, been over many courses, so knows how football always ends up.fucking you into a depression.

We have both suffered greatly of that outcome many times since we were kids.

Last night was a sore one. A chance to break the trophy duck, and more worrying for me, galvanise the cunts.

Bottle went. There's no other way to say it. And that big **** of a pal of mine knows that to..

A lot of Gers fans saying he picked the wrong team. Was too complacent. I had a read through loads of the pre match posts and couldn't fund one saying that. Confidence was high, let's face it Rangers and Celtic should be able to beat everyone with a second string with our relative resources.
We have shown that if confidence is low and your manager sticks with out of form players this doesn't always work out. Add in the pressure both teams are facing this season, wobbles and fuckups are on the cards to continue.

Rangers were piss poor, as they were up at Dundee Utd. I'm hoping they continue to slump obviously. Well, I would, wouldn't I?

Yes I was raging. Their second goal was offside before they put it in. Was missed by the officials. We can hardly be missed at other teams not holding out when we shat it from them at home. Three games with them and that will decide it.
 
Neither Celtic nor Rangers would trouble any team languishing in our (the English) 4th tier. Utter gash. Let them bleat on about ten league wins in a row or 56 league titles. Truth is, both teams (and their support) have lived off the bile spouted by the old Firm since time immemorial. IRA/UVF you said this, we did that, blah, blah, sectarian fucking blah. And let's not forget about the "rabid" support of The Hoops (in a a two horse town): 1972 - 1996, didn't get above 29k average . 1984, 4 thousand for a top flight league game! Must admit, the giants of Glasgow managed 6k the following year. We are the people (both of them).

You make that offside up mate, as can't see evidence of that anywhere.

Congratulations on another trophy, been that long since we won 1 i can't remember what they look like lol.

Not sure how much of a corner being turned that performance was though, although I only watched the 2nd half & extra time. Still, hopefully keeps Lenny in a job & you guys out the car park eh?! ;-)

They may be utter gash but we failed to be one of them in two attempts a few seasons ago. - Awaits string of excuses.

Gunner, we were fucking woeful as you no doubt saw. Lenny doing the old pals act changed the team and although Broony played ok, we still lost better cover for our non existent defence and also Soro's ability to pass forward.

First half total stroll, they score and we don the kamikaze headgear. After enduring that utter pish I am now convinced if we don't get a goalie and a CB to get Duffy to fuck, we have zero chance of the 10.

The time we take to get anyone in me and it's a cert we go to you with the same defence. I am currently working on a bunker to watch that game in. Complete with padded walls.

I have never felt so down after winning a trophy. That was just fucking woeful. If Hearts had scored when Duffy clattered into Julian no one could have complained. Lenny needs to go now. So between him, Lawell and Desmond, your three aces in the hole, I have zero hope they will get the players we need, or even fucking play them, as is Lenny's way.

In fact, winning all the games before the January game at you seems like the haverings of the deluded. Not playing like yesterday, no fucking chance.

Oh I forgot, I was talking about the general gap in resources. Having those players for fuck all doesn't change the truth if my statement does it? It doesn't. Just in case you're struggling with the facts. Your second team was out together with over £100m. That is the truth I was highlighting, so three for fuck all, although commendable, changes fuck all.

If you didn’t bottle it against European minnows year after year, you’d have more prize money and could afford more expensive players.

Can't argue with that, although, It's actually the other way round. We fail to get players in on time, go cheap and buy pricks. Never a good strategy and we have shown the world it's deficiencies
