Big Ange is a winner and will do well wherever he goes. Quality Manager. Wouldn’t like to see him going to Spurs.
He won't do anything at spurs.
No manager will.
Not while they have that clown holding the purse strings.
They're more interested in hosting wAnk American rugby games than football

Well, what can I say about this game we all love, but for the most part, doesn’t love us back as much? My team just won the treble, led by a man we have all grown to love, but a team with more money, in a better league, has flashed a leg and an opportunity that looks like our Ange feels is too good an opportunity to turn down.

All day yesterday I was feeling down, I couldn’t shake it. I knew how historic the game was, what it meant, but what it also meant was probably the last time I, or any of us, would see him lead our team out again. That feeling of sadness was the primary emotion and this morning it still is.

He has been amazing for us. He took no shit from a mainly grudgingly hostile press whose hopes for their own team meant he had it all to do. He was written off, pressure was put on him and he stood firm and showed them all, both in the football he brought and in taking none of their shit. For that alone I loved him. I could never understand previous managers taking that sort of pish and always felt we needed someone to call them out, treat those who tried it on with contempt and use his intelligence and wit to show them they were dealing with a guy who knew what he was doing and woukd never cowtow to cunts out to put digs in, focus on the negative always. He fucking ragdolled every one of those pricks.

He won five out of six trophy’s available and derailed the Rangers march to dominance, they all thought was a brown brogue in after we collapsed during the ten season. Even the diehard Rangers fans knew he was the real deal. Some think Beale was his match, for now anyway, but he isn’t and never will be. Beale must be the happiest guy in Scotland, right up there with the Daily Ranger sports “journalists”, no laughing at the back.

Now we have to find another guy. Now we have to have a wee greet, curse our luck at being in a league that is but a stepping stone to richer pickings. That’s so hard to take. It really is. I am well aware that’s how it is, that’s the cards we have been dealt and me or anyone lamenting that reality, would be as well moaning that water doesn’t flow upstream. The only response we can muster, as we always do, is to regroup, wipe our tears and say, fuck it, let’s take these bastards on again. And we will. And if anybody doubts that, they are either delusional or utterly delusional.

It is and will be a task, not quite Herculean, but considerable. Finding anyone of the calibre we would want, is also hindered by where we are geographically located. But again, we can’t change that, so need to just deal with it.

I don’t like Spurs, but if Ange goes there I will want him to succeed. It’s like that old saying, if you love someone and they want to leave, you must let them go. Well Ange, we love you. I understand why you may feel this is too good an opportunity, I don’t believe it is, but what I think means fuck all. You will forever have a place in this greetin faced bastards heart. A heart that this morning isn’t quite as whole as it should be, but it will mourn then it will do as it always has throughout my life, heal and be stronger for it and ready to do battle again.

Life is a series of peaks and troughs, the key for me is to accept that reality and not to buckle when times are cruel, self belief, a fuck you attitude and knowledge that you will go down at times, you will feel beaten at times, but to always remember you are not, as long as that heart is still beating just dust yourself off, take a step forward and keep throwing they punches. My team need to do the same. And I know they will, it’s who we are.

Ange I will miss you, but thank you big man. And good luck, Spurs will have none of us supporting them, but we will be behind you.

Not Celtic related but the SPL relegation play-off final has gone to penalties on Sky

I did tell you he'd be off to the Prem.

Unless you come down south, you will always have a low ceiling.

This has got to be the biggest pile of self-indulgent pish ever written on here.

As much as I hate you lot and with Ange potentially moving to Spuds it may workout for everyone on the good side ;-)

Celtic are dropping a massive bollock letting him go.
