We spent it on players who so far, havent cut it enough. Plus. We had a zero net spend. We only spend what we bring in, by selling our best players. We have the money to go up a level, thats the issue. We tool up to be more competitive in Europe, we continue to dominate at home. It's the lack of ambition that fucks us off.

Idah is a £4m player and that's being generous. At times he looks good. But he reminds me of Clydesdsle horse trying to control a tennis baw. Misses too many chances and arrives in the box too late too often. Engels, there's a player in there, but too inconsistent and cannot turn with someone at his back, just passes it backwards. Trusty has looked good in pre season, but he too is inconsistent and plsts better against better teams. We need a centre back who is better than CCV. Who can bring it out of defence and has better distribution. We have no one in that mould.

He gets CL experience and a title winners medal. Best move for him.
Apparently, Celtic are taking Jahmai Simpson-Pusey on a season-long loan.

Good move for all parties, I reckon.

I am hoping, to make it work for us, we have a similar situation to Paddy Roberts, where we get the lad for a couple of seasons. Hes young. This one year is not helping us. He will get game time, but unless hes as good as they say, he ain't starting. We aren't impressed with this. We develop one of your players then we don't get any of that benefit? Not for the majority of us. We are screaming out for our own CL ready CB. This is typical of those ambitionless bastards on our board.

No harm to the lad. He comes and plays the support will be right behind him. Nothing to do with him. Our beef is solely with the pricks in Blazers.

I hope he's brilliant.

The pricks who continually break your transfer record

The pricks that have overseen Celtics greatest era

The pricks who have positioned their men in all the positions of power in Scottish football

The pricks who have made the club a fortune

Aye I can really see why you’d be pissed off. All that success and all that money must be a bastard

If he’s anything like Denayer or Boyata then you’re laughing

My honest opinion is I wasn’t overly excited when Rangers were linked with him a week or so ago. Watching him play at City he looked a bit like a rabbit caught in the headlights but in fairness he wasn’t coming into a City defence playing with a lot of confidence.

CCV is your starting CB and unless you’ve signed others he’s only got to be better than Trusty and Scales.

We should and could be much better. Here we are a few days before the season and still haven't replaced kyogo or Khun. Jota is out too. We will still have enough to see off your latest shitshow, but we want the money we have used to make us more competitive in Europe.

And we could have had twice as much money if the board had balls. Lawell failed 9 times from 13 to qualify for the CL by refusing to spend. Nir Bitton played centre half so often at CB. We want a team capable of putting up a right good fight in Europe.

Our ambitions have left you in our rear view mirror. We have bigger fish to fry. Unfortunately for us and fortunately for you, our board don't have ambition. Staying ahead of you is it for them.

You better pray they dont find a pair. Watched you last night, I knew you would fet through as they had fuck all up front.. aggregate should have been 8.3 at least. My only consolation is that you are in the Europa and get get some coefficient points to get us straight into the CL in a few years. Next year and the year after, I am hearing its 3 qualifying games.

There is still time in this window, but its the dithering and lowball bids that do our head in.

I am also happy with the recruitment team, fuck all to do with Rogers. Inamura, Tamada and especially Nygreen are looking really good and we got them for a song.

The young pup from City is not the answer for us, just another putting off spending for a better CB than Ccv.

Never look back at what you have done and think it will continue, unless you make it continue. We have the resources to do that, but not the will. It's the lack of fight that gets me. Have a fucking go. Since your mob died, we have had a negative net spend of £6m. We spend less than we sell for. We just paid £7m in tax. Spend it on good players and we still turn a profit as well as raising us a level.

We will never be in any position to get to the latter stages of the CL, never mind win the fucking thing, but we can be a team that regularly gets out of the group. That's like winning it to us. All I want is for the board to get the players we all know we need and give us a shot at it. We have brought in about £23m so far. Spent about £3m. We bring in a CB, £10m, a winger £7m and striker £12m, thats only net spend of £9m. We splashed that fir Idah ffs. We aren't expecting a £50m spend, even though we can afford that. £9m net spend. That's not too much to ask.

Fortunately for Celtic they have wiser , cooler heads running the club.

I understand your frustration and wanting to push on but there are reasons why your club don’t.

Firstly Celtic have a wage structure that means ANY EPL club can outbid them and most certainly out pay wages wise.

We’ve had this discussion before , many times, and it hasn’t changed. There is a ceiling on the level of player willing to play in the Scottish league. That won’t change until the league as a whole gets stronger and the only way that’ll ever happen is if the other top tier clubs bring in more money. You’ve never seemed overly keen on Sharing the money around. Your club and those running your club are entirely responsible for this!!

It’s not a case of spending big but more a case of spending wisely. Kyogo, Hatate, Maeda, Jota were all bought relatively cheaply and have done well for the club. Compare them to Trusty, Idah, Engels ffs!!

Maybe if SF49ers and Cavanagh get it right at Ibrox it will force your boards hand but it’s still far too early to know how things will pan out in that regard.

Enjoy the flag day. I’ll be travelling back from a short break up North. Shame I’ll miss it : )

Well, that was an entertaining game. Motherwell provided the entertainment. I had heard they had brought in a few good players and were looking good. They are. Some lovely football, if that guy Just up front wasn't fucking woeful, they would have strolled it. Rangers had some good movement to the last 3rd, then they lacked that touch of finesse to create and finish.

Defensively vulnerable as fuck, to pace and crisp passing. Anyone spring to mind? Out from the back that is a Maeda dream. Slow, hesitant. After watching them midweek, I knew they had a long, long way to go. I mean long. If you swapped teams about, the bears would be happier. I was really impressed with Well. Should have been 3 dropped points, but I will take 2 and the psychological blow it comes with.

Onward to tomorrow, cheer the Flag, boo the board and take 3 points off St mirren. Hopefully a good display and a few goals. Good wee team St Mirren should be a good game.

If only it were that easy. I hope it is, but I think it will be tighter. All depends on if we get a striker and at least one winger of quality. Then it gets easier. Still have enough to win the league, but in the CL with a harder draw? Tricky. Add real quality, we will give ourselves a boost getting out of the group. A fighting chance, thats all we want the board to make happen. If we splashed £40m, that would only be a net spend of £10m, from the £80-90m in the bank. Rangers have spent more than that. And will spend every dime they make in transfers too.

Just find the tin. Open it. Give the money to the nice club. Take the player. Get him to hold up a scarf. Let him tell the camera he knows all about Celtic, big club, world famous, CL nights Job done.

St Mirren making it difficult for them.

And those fucking drums.

Where's a sniper when you need one?

Our finishing was abject. We need a striker and I can't believe, we'll i can, Rogers not bringing on Yamada. Idah is fucking woeful. Not into our groove yet, but, we got the 3 points. Lucky deflection, but unlucky deflection onto the bar from Nygreen.

We get the late goals because we never give up. Nerves are fucking shattered though.

Credit to St Mirren, though. Yes; they were limited as an attacking threat, but they defended doggedly. I don't think any of the other clubs can complain about them rolling over to have their belly tickled. Same with Motherwell yesterday. They were more adventurous, but I guess they felt they had to give it a go, being the home side.

St Mirren played well in defence.

They were excellent. I think their manager just said that they didn't lose a game against the rest of the top 6 last season*. That's impressive. He seems like a decent coach. He knows how to set his team up.

*Maybe that was after the split?
He lost 3 times to us. It must have been.
