There is no evidence of any Steward being assaulted, none or Police. That's why.

Wee story regarding the Green Brigade….

A few years ago they shamed their club and Scotland with their ‘No blood stained poppies on our strips’ banner. They were widely condemned and even the Celtic board had to issue a statement claiming they were investigating the issue and those responsible would be banned. I had joined their forum months beforehand for reasons that are not important. Obviously the forum was in uproar at their board threatening to ban GB members. I’ll get to the end…. The GB leadership were invited in to meet the board and the manager ( Lennon I believe) where they admitted they held the banner up. No bans and the GB were assured that Celtic would never again wear the poppy on their shirts and to this day they never have!

For years the Celtic board enabled these people and took little to no action. The hanging of Protestant effigies being a particular low point with again no bans handed out.

Before anybody jumps in I am equally critical of the Union Bears when they have stepped over the line
