I know the conditions were pretty dire, but I watched the last 20 minutes of the first half, and 5 minutes of the second half, and we started counting the number of players that touched the ball before giving it back to the other team, the highest we got to was 6, once, there were 2 4's, a few 3's and 2's, but overwhelmingly the highest percentage was 1. To me to you, to me to you.....

Then in 60mph winds, the commentary team are saying both sides needed to get it forward quicker, and a shot of McCoist shouting "get it in the box"......

No wonder scottish football is in such a poor state, the only place to play the ball in that weather was along the ground, but neither side could. The little I watched was even worse than I expected it to be, but the conditions can be used as a poor excuse.

The thing is TTT, its the 'old firm' that have sucked it to death, and between you have squeezed out any other competition, when you attracted english players north, the competition was between a number of clubs, but now its just the two.

You are now reaping the reward of this, with no money between you either, the reason is nobody outside Scotland wants to watch it (and I suspect the audience has dwindled inside as well). You (Scotland) used to export great players to England, but now the best exports are barely average.

Both sides now have some poor players if you're honest. I did watch 25 minutes of it out of curiosity, and you are both well below what you were even 2-3 years ago in my opinion. As I said above, in that 25 minutes, I counted the number of players that touched the ball before giving it back to the other team, it was invariably one or two, and the best was six.

I watched it we all know the standard isnt as good as before. Money wise its always going to be at the Championship level in England at the highest. Celtic deserved the win to be honest it shows the money isnt in the game in the SPL with the 2 managers of both teams. Lennon and McCoist both shouldnt be near either job and if there was money in the game up there then they would both have got a proven manager to win there league not 2 novices. If Rangers were to have got in say Terry Butcher to take over instead of McCoist then I just wouldnt see Lennon pulling the gap back on a more experienced manager. I said it before either 1 or both could well get the sack and if Rangers keep dropping points then McCoist will be the first 1 out the door.
