We have been travelling in on the Chiltern railway from Marylebone for the last few years then ploughing up the hill to the Green Man.
Not done the Torch before but I hear its a big pub so worth a try.

We were going to Park at Uxbridge And get the tube in
But the Metropolitan & Piccadilly Lines are shut between Uxbridge & Rayners Hill, there is a replacement bus service
We have decided to go from West Ruislip instead
there are also issues from Watford
As previously advised Check the TFL website/journey planner

It's true the Jubilee line does go all the way to Wembley but it takes forever. Jump off at Finchley cross the platform and you can get on the Met line. Will save you about 5-10 mins.
