Re: Cerebral Palsy

2 Tickets for auction (1 adult, 1child). All proceeds go to the Nicholas Bamforth SDR Fund

For the opening game of the Barclays Premier League season at the Etihad Stadium. 18th August 2012 15:00

The Champions (yes thats us) v newly promoted Southampton. Should be a 'goal-fest'! Note this game will undoubtedly be a sell out and include a showing of the newly acquired 'bling'.

Dont miss this opportunity to join in the celebrations and get the boys off to a flying start. The seats are in a fantastic location in the family stand right behind the goal (block 238).

Bidding already at £50 for the pair via FaceBook.....

Cheers for bidding x

Re: Cerebral Palsy

Good evening all, sorry to bother, but Nicholas's dad, Mark has asked me to post this on his behalf...

There's a real community feel about this cause & you would not believe the determination, hard work & heart ache that it's too to raise a staggering £42,000 & counting!!

Look out at the top of Joe Mercer way on Sat at 4.30pm for a staged event and please take one of the 10,000 flyers!!!

Once again... thanks for your time

Nicholas's Story

In May 2012 we embarked on a fund raising campaign to help raise £60000 to cover the costs of an operation to give Nicholas a better standard of life. Nicholas is 9 years old and has suffered from birth with Cerebral Palsy. He has been accepted for a Life changing operation at St Louis Childrens Hospital Usa.
Nicholas has been a season ticket holder at City since the age of 2 and attends all home matches with his family.
Over the past months we have held many fund raising events. People have also given their time to take part in sponsored runs, Parachute jumps, football matches, zumbathons and many other challenges.
The support we have received from family, friends and the local community has been incredible. Our total has grown steadily over the past few months and is now at £40,000.
With your help we can raise the final £20,000 and get Nicholas the operation he deserves. If you can spare only £1 this will make a massive difference to Nicholas.
Thank You Nicholas Bamforth SDR Fund

Fair play mate. Proves there is good cause to flesh and blood beyond the banter. Respect.
