I cant start my own posts yet but i have always wondered could city ever buy messi?

I know we have the money to and i know he/barca has a £150mil buy out clause in his contract.

I have heard that the fans would go mad and then withdraw all their money out of the Spanish banks which would see the Spanish banking system to collapse.

Seems far fetched but could it be true?

Not for that amount not ever, he isn't even worth that much money. He plays in a team that creates billions of chances against what is essentially a league half full of conference type sides. He's a brilliant player, best in the world maybe but only a sensible fee would be acceptable not just whatever they will accept.
