I guess many viable clubs are being cautious in respect of their requirements and the financial outlay,maybe things will ramp up just prior to the window closing.I’m really surprised we haven’t sorted a loan for Tommy Doyle yet. He’s in desperate need of first team football.

I would. If we fail to bring in a striker then we'll need him as back up in case of injuries.Delap loan got stuck a bit, was about to leave now he is still with City. Do we keep him in case we fuck up the Kane deal?

I’d imagine that’s exactly what it is - until we bring a striker in, he’s not available for a loan.
Would be madness to send him out when we might be able to give him the opportunities ourselves!
