CFG | Academy | EDS in & out season 2022/23

Quite a few players I thought we might have heard about a possible move..anyone know the plans for these lot?

do we have a full list of players left and the fees? transfermarkt bit rubbish doesnt even show these transfers like Shea etc
 
May just be me, but kinda annoying the transfermarkt differentiates between the main team and the u21 with transfers

Just a pet peeve that means nothing, but you go onto our page and it doesn't show how we've sold Trafford and Charles for £30mil

Yeah, I pointed this out on reddit somewhat recently.. did a little quick and dirty math on the net over the last 10 years and it was another +100m that is attributed to the U21 team vs City. Those infographics that reflect net spend never include this since they're just going off the main squad's history. Here is what I posted on there:

One thing to keep in mind about Transfermarkt is that since they have entries for youth teams separately, they can reflect sales of youth players alongside those figures instead of the main club. If you look at City's team page, they only give credit for €5m (Yangel Herrera) this year for outgoings while Manchester City U21 (James Trafford and Shea Charles) has €29.55m in outgoings. City have done well with selling academy players in recent years but their site is not giving City's main team the "credit" currently.​

That isn't to say other teams aren't affected as well, but it is something to keep in mind when looking at a chart like this which most likely reflects only the numbers from the primary team. From just glancing at the full transfer history for Manchester City U21, it looks like there is about a net positive of €100m over the last 10 years for City that are attributed to the U21 team.​

Don't know if you're aware but the U18's have their own page as well so there's 3 to keep an eye on.

Him or Mebude but they're both gone now. I can only think the Mebude fee reflects a much higher sell-on and/or a much lower buy-back than Borges s but they're both getting first team games against pros which has to be a step up from U21s football.
