CFG | Academy | EDS in & out season 2023/24

Doesn’t look Mebude is having a great time in Belgium so far, he hasn’t played for over a month (presumably injured) and his team are rock bottom with 1 point from 7 games.
 
Savio/Savinho is a Troyes player technically on loan at Girona and he is looking absolutely fantastic so far this season. Have to think he’ll be in the conversation to move to City in the future. Troyes are having a horrible go of it this season and can’t imagine they get out of Ligue 2 so they’ll probably want to leave him at Girona next season at worst.

Was looking at his own thread and he is getting good reviews.
Wondering what happens, if a club other than us, comes in with big money for him?

PSV turned down the chance to loan him again because CFG wanted the buy option to be ~€20m and they didn’t think that was a fair price. If he keeps it up, I’m imagining CFG will want €40-50m unless he has some release clause. Need to get him a new contract if so!

Unrelated, but Callum Doyle went off at HT today for Leicester and will have a knee scan on Monday. Left on crutches and wearing a brace..hopefully not a serious injury.

We'll likely sign him from Troyes if the club deems him valuable enough. We bought Pedro Porro from Girona many years ago at "fair market" value despite interest from other La Liga clubs.
