Hope so, me and the Mrs went there when Angelino and others were playing. Great club and support.

Similar to Melbourne Heart fans who were very unhappy with us taking away their club colours and the “Heart” from their identity. They too had little positive to say about us.

Spot on Cas! I had a 'lively debate' with a NYCFC 'fan' when Atlanta United played them here in Atlanta (I was a AUFC ST holder at the time) and they definitely hate us and the numpty couldn't give me a justifiable reason for doing so when i challenged him, just mouthed off that they don't need us and they don't want us! (the CFG Group of course, but in his tiny excuse for a mind, it was MCFC that had bought them!)
He mentioned that we actually 'stole' Frank off them and when i explained exactly what happened he just said "Bullshit" so i asked him, "WTF would you do, play for one of the best team in the world, CL football and the best coach in the world, or play in the MLS?" He replied he would be 'loyal' and play for the club he signed for..... no amount of explanation would convince him that is was actually CFG and Frank's decision, which i stated was the correct one! He then said that he booed Frank for the first few games as he didn't want him at NYCFC after that!
In the end, I bade him a fond "Mancunian" farewell and added that i hope AUFC fking stuff them!
His last and final retort was that I should be supporting NYCFC anyway, not AUFC. I explained that as they were my 'hometown' club and offered me the chance to watch MLS 'locally' in a fantastic stadium 45 miles from my house, similar to him! He then replied with........ "'Oh, i am not from NYC, I am born and raised in Georgia, I have just chosen NYCFC as my team" ......... I simply replied "Oh just fcuk off!" thinking well, thats an hour of my life i will never get back!!

I do like and follow NYCFC much more now (Its City after all!) but cant stand the fans, well at least some of them!

Loads of NYCFC fans are liverpool fans as well for some reason
 
someone "choosing" us/cfg team is a compliment surely, most of us never had the option, for what-ever reason..family, geography etc. That's show-biz folks..
