What I don’t get about those posters is that they are in English and have no supporters with them. How much of a protest is it when it shows nobody actually supporting it, less one person who made a statement?

Wouldn‘t be surprised to find that one of the UK media outlets funded it so they could make a story otherwise there‘d be at least the person who put the poster up in the picture.

I remember years ago there was a run of negative pics in the media. Obvious setups, all credited to a particular agency. Can't remember who it was.

Yeah it was Cavendish Press, they blatantly staged the Tevez shirt burning in a remote canal bridge somewhere near Ashton. Also got Rooney printed on a City shirt and then claimed it was a fan.
Daily Mail and others absolutely lapped it up even though they probably knew both were commercially driven lies

They've not had to get in anywhere. They hung the banner outside the stadium - any fucker can walk up there and do that on any given day.

They didn't get in anywhere. You can walk there anytime you want. It took minutes to put the banner up and 30 seconds to take a photo. Why have a go at security? If they had stopped them the headline would be about a gulf state stopping free speech.

Ah ok - my bad. I thought it was within the area that has gates/fencing. I come over the bridge from the academy stadium & you have to go through green fencing/gates. Thought they got locked.
Also thought we’d have some sort of security patrol/cameras around the ground for vandalism reasons - especially as we know what some opposition fans can do to our coaches!!

Ok. My bad. As posted to another poster - thought the ground had some sort of green fencing before you get into this area - but if not, thought there’d be some security patrol or cctv in anticipation of vandalism & to protect our statues.
