I can't wait for next season

next season is going to a big one and if city get off to a flyer then look out the rest
the balance of the squad needs fixing in the summer but city have some great young lad coming through and i like cole parmer and delap and tommy doyle

Talking about the future and the next ten years is all I needed to hear as that will boil the piss of the rags and dippers.

That aside now Aguero has gone, I think this transfer window could be one of our most important yet.

We cannot sit back and expect more of the same will be enough. We need to evolve tactically, false nine was nice but teams will work it out we nee to hit them with a striker like Haaland or Kane opening space up and taking men with them for other to use that space.
Have someone there who can score headers and we cross into the box for Sterling to wait for the header next to 3 head taller defenders.

All our PL rivals will spend big money imo, to close the gap on us.

I liked this year how teams who were lying down to Liverpool last year were not always like that again but stood up to them even at Anfield sometimes. Even fucking Everton did not gift them 6 points this time.

But that means they will raise their game further when they play City next time while they again lie down to Liverpool:).

We need 2-3 big signings to scare our rivals and also to shake up our squad and raise the bar for competition for places and bring in some fresh hunger into the squad.

i think if we only bring in one striker then we could still have the same problems if injuries happens
left back is a must ? not many are standing out or at big clubs so we may have to bring in i unknown

Yeah, I'm looking at the champs league disappointment as a sort of positive now, the fact we reached our first ever final. It should spur us on to achieve better in it next season

Not surprising really given the interview was the day after the Chelsea game. Good to see it means a lot to him we need that drive and passion to be as strong as ever if we are to get back to the champions league final.

The answer to the question about peps future was also telling to me, I took from that they expect this current extension to be his last at the club. But who knows just me reading far too much into it probably! I also agree with his sentiment that this is the golden period of the club, when pep leaves I think we will only then realise just how great he has been for us. He has normalised the abnormal just need that cherry on top of the cake

The pep answer was just the typical media one, I wouldn’t read too much into it. It was essentially it’s two years away, neither ourselves or Pep are stupid enough to predict we’ll all still be happy and have already decided we want to carry on after that just yet
