Challenge for the title next season

I think it's pretty clear that we'll be challenging for the title next year. I think the other managers will expect city to come back stronger in August. Manchini will be spending this summer and we already know that we are not that far behind the teams that finished in the top four.

Im not a betting man but I think there might be a decent bet to get on soon before some really top quality players sign this summer.
 
City for the title is a bad bet.

It won't matter who signs, they will need time to gel.

I'd say Champions League qualification is nailed on for next season though, along with the Europa Cup.
 
I sincerely hope we are up there challenging - surely being there or thereabouts at the end of the season is the next step as we look to progress?

Cant believe the owners would have it any other way. Bring it on :)
 
I wouldnt know who but our squad will be much stronger than last season and look how far we moved up the league then.

IMO R.M. will look to make our back four stronger, there is no way he would have been happy with what he inherited in this department. I also think he'll be looking to replace Ade.
 
We're definitely going to be up there sniffing around for the title......just not sure about our luck to be honest...you need luck to get you there aswell as players and form......
 
It could be even more open than this season, United and Chelsea know they have to get players in, with Spurs and us going to strengthen again, Arsenal have to invest this pre season otherwise they could do a Liverpool and fall out of the top 4, and Liverpool have to improve and invest heavily, but know one is sure if there going to suddenly get bank rolled by a new owner, or get fresh investment that enables them to build on what they've got, or if they have too sell there biggest assets in able to rebuild. We could be fighting for the title but justifiably so could another 5 teams, but saying that non of us know what the summer holds for us or our rivals.
